We’re seeking a motivated Purchasing Officer to manage the procurement of supplies for our OSHC and Kindergarten services. Job Description

Manage end-to-end procurement for OSHC and Kindergarten services, sourcing educational resources, office supplies, food, and equipment

Maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure value, quality, and timely delivery across all purchasing

Monitor stock levels and inventory, coordinating storage, distribution, and tracking across multiple sites

Support budgeting and cost control by aligning purchasing with financial goals and identifying efficiency opportunities

Ensure compliance and accurate records, following organisational policies and reporting requirements, including Modern Slavery obligations

Qualifications

Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management - ideally in education or childcare settings

Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with sound budgeting and cost control knowledge

Hands-on, proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
