About the role
The Principal Contracts Officer assists the Supply Chain Manager in the provision of customer focused high performance contract management services that underpin the core business of SM TAFE. As a key member of the Supply Chain team the position supports continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis including the use of business intelligence tools and applications.
To be successful in this role you will have a tertiary qualification in a contracts or business stream and ideally have knowledge and experience in procurement and contract management in a large government agency or equivalent. You will have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise and deliver a customer-centric service.
