About Us:

RTC Group is a leading provider of maintenance and construction services across Australia. With strong growth plans, the company is distinguished by a commitment to quality, excellence, and “Setting the standard” in all areas of operations and service delivery. Collaboration, authenticity, driving best practices, and creating a business that supports the community are at the heart of what we do.

At RTC Group, we understand that our people are our greatest asset. We set the bar for an inclusive, participative workplace where staff and contractors are not just numbers; their contributions are always welcomed, encouraged, and valued.

Our Facilities Maintenance team provide planned and responsive maintenance, emergency repairs, disability modification upgrades, vacant restorations, property surveys, demolition, asbestos removal, and construction services throughout New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania.

The Opportunity:

We seek a motivated Maintenance Coordinator to join our Facilities Maintenance team based in our Port Lincoln office, servicing the Far Western Country region.

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will manage a portfolio of planned and responsive maintenance works from commencement to completion, including performing the initial scoping of works, scheduling and allocating works to trades, managing subcontractors, reviewing completed works to ensure compliance and everything in between.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate with domestic trade qualifications who wants to take the first steps towards a career in facilities management. In the role, you will gain exposure to a diverse variety of projects and develop your skills in the administrative and management side of the industry.

Standard working weeks are 40 hours, Monday to Friday. Due to the vast area we service regional travel is an ongoing requirement of this role.

This fast-paced role involves travel to various sites throughout the region, with no two days being the same.

About You:

The successful candidate will demonstrate a detailed understanding of the residential building industry and have experience working in a hands-on trade-based role (previous experience in the facilities maintenance industry or a project supervisor role will be highly regarded).

With multiple projects on the go at any one time, you will thrive working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and be adept at managing various competing demands to ensure works are completed in line with set timeframes.

You will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal) and possess the people skills required to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Working closely with our operations team, subcontractors, and clients, you will be an effective collaborator while also being highly autonomous and able to manage work without direction or supervision.

All work is allocated and signed off via software, and sound computer skills are required.

Essential Requirements:

Due to the environment we work in, the following compliance checks are required to perform the role. If you do not currently hold these checks, you are still encouraged to apply, provided you are willing and able to obtain them prior to commencement.

• OHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

• National Police Check

• Successful completion of a medical check, including Alcohol and other Drugs screening.

• Domestic trade qualification or relevant industry experience to obtain a Building Works Supervisor Registration.

Our Benefits:

• Tool of Trade Company Vehicle

• On-the-job training and upskilling opportunities

• Career progression pathways

• Employee assistance program

Candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. RTC Group is committed to fostering a workplace that values diversity and inclusion, where every individual is respected and has the opportunity to thrive.
