About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded, and experienced State Manager to lead our Victorian operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all business functions within Victoria, including overseeing sales performance, operational efficiency, client relationships, and profitability.
You will manage a diverse and talented team across Drape Manufacturing, Installation, Service, and Sales departments. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can lead with impact, drive business growth, and ensure strong financial and operational performance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Victorian office, setting and delivering business goals aligned with national strategy.
Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow revenue and ensure the region operates as a profitable business unit.
Drive financial accountability, managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting to ensure profitability targets are met.
Lead and inspire a high-performing team across multiple departments, fostering a positive, safe, and collaborative workplace culture.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and repeat business.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support long-term growth.
Ensure smooth daily operations, including oversight of workflows, job allocation, and scheduling.
Monitor quality and safety standards, auditing work and customer service to ensure alignment with TSA's high expectations.
Oversee administration including order processing, invoicing, compliance, and reporting.
Recruit, onboard, and develop team members, supporting career progression and ongoing training.
Conduct performance reviews and support team development through regular feedback.
Maintain compliance with all company policies, legal obligations, and industry regulations.
Identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure strong workplace health and safety practices.

You are a results-driven leader who is passionate about delivering an exceptional product and client experience. You bring a strong commercial lens to your work, with a focus on profit, efficiency, and service quality. With strong leadership, communication, and industry insight, you thrive in fast-paced environments and bring out the best in your team.
Key personal skills
Proven leadership experience in a senior management role, ideally within theatre, entertainment, manufacturing, events, or technical services.
Strategic and commercial thinking – with a track record of driving financial performance and operational improvements.
Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong understanding of business operations, job costing, project workflows, and compliance requirements.
Proven experience with full P&L accountability in an operational leadership role.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
High level of initiative, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style
Tertiary qualification in Business, Management or related field (preferred)
Valid Australian work rights and current driver's licence required
