The Role: Workshop Manager

We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Workshop Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations. This role is ideal for a highly skilled leader with experience in managing a workshop who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and leading a team to meet the business logistics goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the workshop and assembly team and troubleshooting technical issues.

· Lead warehousing and logistics operations, ensuring safe management of jobs

· Coordinate assembly and warehouse movements to achieve KPIs and efficiency.

· Drive timely processing of orders to despatch.

· Manage stock rotation and warehouse layout to meet seasonal demands.

· Ensure Quality control is adhered to.

· Maintain a clean and organised safe workplace.

· Hands on Role - Lead by example.

Operational Management:

Manage Workshop and Assembly Warehouse Team

Oversee all operational activities, including warehousing, inventory management, and despatch distribution.

Ensure efficient management inventory and manufacturing management in Collaboration with senior management to drive organisational growth, including preparing and reviewing warehouse efficiencies.

Implement strategies to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency in operations and technical support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the key point of contact between Production, Parts, Sales, and Management to ensure seamless operation and resolve issues swiftly.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, WHS & OHS, and environmental policies and procedures.

Process Management: Implement, refine and build processes that minimise delays, eliminate errors, and maximise throughput.

Maintain a strong understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety.

General warehouse support to other team members

Your Profile:

Strong leadership skills with environment from Transport & Logistics management.

Proven ability to optimize operations and manage a workshop team.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Experience with ERP systems and inventory control systems.

Must have a current Vehicle & Forklift License.

Excellent attention to detail

Be able to multi-task, manage priorities and work to deadlines

Display strong organisational skills
