As a boutique, successful and growing Accounting firm, we are seeking a talented, experienced receptionist to join our friendly, professional team! If you enjoy working in a busy role, take pride in your work and are passionate about the success of the firm then this is the job for you! This position is full time in our Carrum Downs office.
As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the role covers regular reception and administrative work and of course other ad hoc tasks including:
attending to queries via telephone and email
booking and confirming appointments
setting up files for appointments
assisting with mail, printing, copying, scanning, archiving and filing
preparing invoices
setting up online meetings
lodgement of tax returns
assisting with keeping the office clean, tidy and presentable
setting up for meetings and training sessions
monitoring emails and responding promptly
managing kitchen and stationery supplies
other duties consistent with the position where required and/or requested by supervisors
The successful person will need:
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel & Word
A flexible attitude and willingness to ‘muck in’ in a small business environment
As the role has a high level of client contact, excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
Experience using Xero will be highly regarded.
Experience in a similar role is not essential but will be highly regarded.
