The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Venue Manager to lead front-of-house operations across the GPO precinct. This is a pivotal leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-venue environment with high-volume trade, diverse service styles, and a strong functions and nightlife offering.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations across multiple venues open 7 days a week

Drive exceptional service and guest experience throughout the precinct

Manage and mentor a large FOH team including waitstaff, bar staff, hosts, and supervisors

Oversee floor service, bookings, bar operations, and function execution

Monitor performance and control costs, including labour, stock, and wastage

Ensure ongoing compliance with RSA, WHS, and food safety regulations

Collaborate with the events team on planning and executing private and corporate functions

Be a visible leader during key trade periods—setting the tone for service, standards, and team culture

The Skills

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager, or F&B leadership role

Proven ability to lead high-volume, multi-service operations with a large and diverse team

Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills

Strong commercial acumen and operational awareness

Proficiency in rostering, labour cost control, stock and COGS management

Calm, confident, and solutions-focused under pressure

Current RMLV and RSA certification
