Elliott Hardie Homes is a locally owned residential building company with a reputation for building quality custom homes. Catering for clients wanting a complete custom home to suit their specific needs to suit their lifestyle, Elliott Hardie Homes (QLD) offer a benchmark service from design all the way to handover. We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team.

THE ROLE

Managing between 6 to 8 jobs from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, as Site Supervisor, you will take full ownership of the construction site. You’ll coordinate trades, manage daily schedules, ensure safety compliance, and be the main point of contact on site. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with a carpentry background and strong leadership skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities

Coordinate trades, subcontractors, materials, and equipment

Monitor progress to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations

Ensure site safety procedures are followed and standards maintained

Read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Maintain daily site records, including site diaries and safety checklists

Liaise with company management and clients as required

Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the project moving

ABOUT YOU

Structural knowledge and experience in Australian residential construction

Certificate IV in Building and Construction highly desirable

Minimum three years in a similar role required

Time management skills and attention to detail

Ability to interpret Architectural & Engineering Plans and Contracts

Proven successful support and management in the delivery of construction projects

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues

The ability to work alone to self-imposed deadlines but also work as part of the team

Skilled and effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel a must
