Site Supervisor – high end townhouse construction projects

Initial project – several high-quality modern townhouses located in Burleigh on the Gold Coast.

Would suit Sub-Foreman / Foreman looking to progress into a Site Management position.

Permanent position l $120,000 - $130,000 + Super

Strictly Monday-Friday working week. No Saturday work

A young, growing tier 3 building contractor seeks to recruit a Site Supervisor to it’s business. Initially you will be a Site Supervisor looking after a high-quality townhouse development in Burleigh, comprising 9 separate homes. They will be contemporary with high quality finish across 3 storeys. The total build value of the project is approx. $10M in value and the programme will run for approx. 13 months. Following this, you will manage another quality residential development on the Southern end of the Gold Coast.

Reporting to the company director and acting project manager (whom will provide you with lots of support, you will be the Site Supervisor on this project, running the site on a day-to-day basis.

Duties will include:

Manage and coordinate subcontractors to achieve high quality finishes homes in line with project specifications.

Coordinate site logistics, including material delivery and resource allocation.

Manage the structural and finishes elements of the projects

Ensure build quality in line with plans and specifications.

Manage day-to-day site activities in accordance with the programme.

Safety management, prioritising site safety is critical, ensuring all site staff and contractors are following company WHSE procedure, ensure works are undertaken safely

Develop short term programming with the project Manager.

Organise the completion of defect works in a timely manner.

To be suitable for the role it is anticipated that you will possess the following;

A carpentry trade background – key. Cert lV a minimum

2-5 years supervision on commercial and / or residential construction projects.

Ideally some experience as a supervisor on multi-level residential projects, units or townhouses.

Qualified Supervisor with license highly desirable

Experience across both structure and finishes and strength in residential experience

A strong salary package ranging from $120,000 - $130,000 + Super

Work Monday – Friday. Absolutely no Saturdays!
