We are a medium size builder/developer who build townhouses, duplexes and dual living homes, with townhouses being what we specialise in. Throughout our team, we have a significant amount of experience and all work as a team to get the job done.

This role we are seeking is a Construction Supervisor/ Site Manager, who will be given the opportunity to lead projects in the Logan & Ipswich regions. The ideal candidate will have experience managing residential and/or commercial job sites (with backup from construction administrator, office staff and visits from Queensland Construction Manager/ Project Manager). This is a hands on role so we need someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

Liaising with PM on project scope, schedule and Key milestones/Deliverables

Plan and Supervise day to day site execution works of contractors

Project execution documentation review and approval to mobilise for contractors

Keep our Project Management system Procore up to date with defects and scheduling

Operating Machinery such as Excavator & Skid Steer - Exp a bonus but not essential

So who are we looking for?

Experience with Procore and/or Microsoft Projects (desirable but not essential)

Proactive and enthusiastic

Someone who knows what needs to be done to get the job done to meet tight deadlines whilst the goalposts continue to change within each project

Someone who can communicate effectively with the trades on-site, the office team & external parties

Someone whose focus is on quality, OH&S and takes pride in the work that they do.

A hands on person happy to get stuck in to the physical side of things when required to ensure the job gets done

Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings

Knowledge of current building codes and regulations

Experience with quality control and site safety management

Minimum 3-5 years' experience supervising residential/ commerical construction projects
