Events & Activation Coordinator – Sweet&Chilli Australia

With offices in Sydney, London & LA, we collaborate with some of the world’s most exciting beverage brands to create memorable brand experiences through live events, activations and brand advocacy moments.
We’re on the hunt for an Events & Activation Coordinator to join our Sydney team. If you love hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for bringing events to life, this is the role for you!
This hands-on role covers everything from planning to execution with a focus on maintaining budgets, fostering relationships, supporting the senior team and delivering exceptional experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Handling client enquiries and preparing quotes for drinks catering events.
• Coordinating small to medium-scale activations, including logistics, staffing & event execution.
• Rostering, briefing and managing event staff to ensure seamless activations.
• Assisting with event planning, set-up and on-site coordination.
• Maintaining the events staffing database and onboarding new event staff.
• Managing project budgets, tracking expenses & reconciling costs.
• Supporting the team with administrative duties and reporting.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers & brand partners.
What We’re Looking For:
• Hospitality management or events industry background
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong IT proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote).
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to offer fresh ideas.
• Confidence in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with rostering and coordinating casual staff is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings & weekends where required for event execution.

Hours:
This is a full-time role. Due to client and event requirements, some evenings and weekends will be necessary.
