Description of the Position

As a Website Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing responsive, user-friendly WordPress websites. You’ll collaborate with clients and our in-house team to create customized web solutions, implement AI chatbot integrations, and ensure websites perform seamlessly across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development:

Design and build responsive WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.

Integrate AI chatbots to elevate user experience.

Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.

Technical Implementation:

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).

Debug, test, and ensure website security.

Create dynamic, interactive features with animations and responsive layouts.

Integrate with third-party services and tools.

Client Collaboration:

Translate client needs into technical specifications.

Communicate effectively with internal marketing and design teams.

To be successful, candidates will have the following attributes

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or similar stream.

Minimum 4+ years of commercial experience working with WordPress development in a similar role..

Core Competencies and Technical Skills:

Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.

Experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.

Strong knowledge of web security and responsive web design.

Familiarity with tools like GitHub and Visual Studio Code.

Experience with page builders (Elementor, Webflow, Divi).

Preferred Skills:

E-commerce development experience (Shopify, WooCommerce).

Understanding of digital marketing and UX/UI design principles.

SEO optimization knowledge.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
