We are a mid sized electrical contracting company based in Bassendean, established 34 years ago with a prestigious customer base.
We are looking for a self motivated reliable and enthusiastic WHS/ admin assistant to support our team during another period of growth, The position is permanent full time with flexible hours but has the potential to be what ever suits your lifestyle including some work from home .
Applicants must possess the following skills
A strong work ethic and demonstrate a "can do" attitude with a warm and friendly temperament;
Professional and confident;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Able to work independently and think for themselves with initiative
Have a strong customer focus, with a willingness to learn new tasks;
A solid understanding of WHS procedures and culture, some qualifications would be desirable but on going training will be available
Good phone manner, and interpersonal skills;
Have experience working as a team member and autonomously.
Experience using MYOB and Simpro would be an advantage
Excellent Word and Excel skills
Willing to go the extra mile and take on responsibility.
The role entails:
Monitoring, updating and expanding our WHS policies and compliance
A valid drivers licence is essential as site visits will be part of the role
Assisting with job management
Basic bookkeeping
liaising with clients and subcontractors via phone and email
Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks
Data entry
Whatever is required to get the job done
