Data Recovery Technician & Lab Manager - Perth

12-Month Contract Position | Premium Perth CBD Location

About the Role

Are you passionate about helping people in their time of need? Do you thrive working independently while delivering exceptional customer service? We're seeking a dedicated Data Recovery Hero to establish and manage our Perth laboratory.

As our Perth Lab Manager, you'll be the face of our Western Australian operations, providing local, fast data recovery services to stressed customers who have experienced data loss. You'll transform their anxiety into relief through compassionate service and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

Provide exceptional phone, email, and in-person customer support

Conduct device assessments and provide detailed quotes

Build relationships with clients throughout the recovery process

Grow Perth branch sales and revenue

Technical Operations

Perform data recovery on diverse storage devices including:

Hard drives and SSDs

Servers and RAID/NAS units

USB flash drives and memory cards

Other specialised storage devices

Utilize professional software and hardware tools

Handle administrative tasks and reporting

Branch Management

Operate as the primary point of contact for Perth operations

Manage day-to-day lab operations independently

Maintain high service standards aligned with company values

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

Australian citizenship or permanent residency (no sponsorship available)

Strong IT support/computer hardware experience

Excellent customer service skills with genuine empathy

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

Willingness to travel to Sydney for 4-week training programme

Commitment to 12-month contract duration
