About the role

SPG Property Agents are seeking a motivated Junior Property Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work alongside a Senior Property Manager managing properties in and around the Maitland area. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

Assist in day-to-day admin for your portfolio which includes but is not limited to, arrears management, property maintenance and reports/reporting.

Assist with the day-to-day out of office tasks, such as but not limited to, open homes, routine inspections, ingoing inspections and vacate inspections.

Liaise with tenants, and external service providers to address enquiries, resolve issues, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Daily training to better your knowledge and abilities.

Be heavily involved in the the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, conducting viewings, application checks and securing new tenants.

Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Property Management Division

What we're looking for

Strong customer service and communication skills

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Attention to detail

A positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented attitude

A current driver's licence.

Certificate of Registration in Property Management (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa required

Must be willing to undergo police check and reference checks
