The Role
In this key role, you’ll be reporting to the Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager, you’ll be responsible ensuring we are compliant with our Standard Operating Procedures across receiving, inspection, storage, handling, and shipping of perishable goods.

You’ll be conducting product inspections, sampling, and testing to uphold food safety and quality standards as well as maintaining and monitoring retention samples for all retail orders. You’ll be managing corrective actions for any rejections and monitoring the storage conditions along with stock rotation to preserve product quality, food safety, and shelf life.

Your attention to detail is key as you’ll be accurately documenting all the quality control results and ensuring that all your reporting meets the Quality Assurance system requirements.

This is a permanent full-time position, working Tuesday to Saturday, 8-hour shift between 2am and 2pm.

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience in a similar QC related role (2+ years preferred).

BS in Food Science, Biological Science, Microbiology, Food Safety, agricultural or plant science, or related field or equivalent in experience.

Knowledge, and working experience, with, food microbiology, RTE quality and food safety (preferably in fresh produce), HACCP, /Prerequisite programs; raw materials supply management and cleanliness.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good time management, multi-tasking skills and management of dynamic schedules and priorities.
