Your Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and rigorously maintain quality control systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with HACCP, AUS-MEAT, and other relevant industry regulations.

Perform regular inspections and audits of processing operations, identifying and resolving potential quality deviations promptly.

Analyse data, generate detailed reports, and track key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.

Partner with production teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions, minimising risks and maximising efficiency.

Stay abreast of evolving industry regulations and best practices, ensuring Meramist remains at the forefront of quality assurance.

Provide training and mentorship to production staff, fostering a culture of quality awareness and adherence to procedures.

Proactively identify opportunities to optimise our quality management systems, driving innovation and efficiency.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the meat processing or food manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding and practical experience with HACCP, AUS-MEAT, and other relevant quality standards.

Exceptional ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions to quality challenges.

Meticulous approach to inspections, audits, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Comprehensive understanding of relevant industry regulations and quality standards.
