The Role:
We are seeking a Junior Accountant with 1 year of experience in public practice to join our team. You will gain hands-on experience preparing tax returns, assisting with financial statements, and learning the fundamentals of client advisory under the guidance of senior accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare individual and basic business tax returns.

Assist with BAS/IAS preparation and lodgment.

Support the preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts, and partnerships.

Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies as required.

Maintain accurate work papers and documentation.

Learn and develop technical tax and accounting knowledge through practical experience.

About You:

1 year experience in a public practice accounting firm.

Working towards or intending to commence CA/CPA (preferred).

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Basic understanding of Australian taxation (exposure to tax software an advantage).

Good communication and organizational skills.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and professional development.
