We're currently recruiting for a progressive and people-focused accounting firm in Melbourne looking for a Junior Accountant to join their Business Services & Tax team. Whether you're a recent graduate or have up to 1–2 years of experience in public practice, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills across a broad range of clients and tax scenarios.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist in preparing BAS, IAS, and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
• Support the preparation of financial statements and compliance reports
• Help analyse financial data to support business decision-making
• Use cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
• Communicate with clients to request documents or answer queries
• Learn directly from experienced Accountants, Managers, and Partners

What we’re looking for:

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
• 1–2 years’ experience in public practice
• A keen interest in business services and tax
• Good communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Studying towards CA/CPA ( full support offered)
