About the role

Roseby Rosner & Young' is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in our South Yarra, VIC 3141 office. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with a range of taxation and accounting services. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within our rapidly expanding firm.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the preparation of personal and business tax returns

Conducting research and analysis to support tax planning and compliance

Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements

Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed

Continuously expanding your knowledge of taxation laws and regulations

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

Demonstrated experience in a similar Junior Accountant or Tax Accountant role, preferably within a professional services environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

A keen interest in taxation and a willingness to continuously learn and develop your skills
