About the role

You’ll work closely with the team to manage a diverse client base, delivering a high level of service and contributing to key practice functions. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and Business Activity Statements (BAS) across all entity types

Preparation of financial statements for SMSFs

Liaising directly with clients and building strong ongoing relationships

Staying up to date with current accounting software and technology to improve efficiency

Reviewing files and providing guidance to colleagues

Assisting with the implementation and improvement of internal systems and processes

Contributing to the growth of the firm

What You Bring to the Table

You’re someone who’s curious, asks questions, and enjoys understanding the ‘why’ behind what you’re doing – not just following a checklist.

You value being part of a friendly, collaborative team where people enjoy learning from each other and growing together.

4+ years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm in Australia (preferred)

Working towards (or intending to commence) your CA or CPA

Expertise across income tax, compliance obligations, superannuation, GST, Division 7A and CGT concessions

Proficiency with accounting software and cloud platforms. Experience with Xero and Class Super is advantageous

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills

Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills

A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine interest in supporting clients and colleagues
