CUSTOMER SERVICE / ADMIN ASSISTANT

Altendorf is a global manufacturer and supplier of Sliding Table Saws (Panel Saws) and Edge Banders for wood working and flat panels plastic industries around the world. We sell and maintain machinery to kitchen and wardrobe manufacturers, joinery shops, builders, sign makers including schools, tafe college, hospitals and universities.

We are looking for a Customer Service / Admin Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time role Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

This is a busy and varied role which will encompass a variety of customer service and other duties and an opportunity to become a valuable member of our excellent team.

Duties of the Role will include but not limited to:

• All aspects of customer service, office reception and other admin duties
• Answering and processing of telephone enquiries and directing phone calls in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner
• Schedule and book jobs for field technicians to optimum level
• Data entry accounts
• Regularly update Technical Service Calendar
• Knowledge of Sales Force CRM platform preferred but not essential.
• Counter sales and service to our valued customers
• Maintain office security and comply with policies and procedures
• Other duties as required

Skill Set and Other Requirements:

• Experience working in a client-driven industry with commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully interact with customers and other team members
• Enthusiastic about servicing customers and have a natural willingness to get things right the first time
• Outstanding organisational skills with a process driven mindset
• Willingness to learn
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Able to work under pressure
• Driver License
