The Role

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Associate to Senior Associate Lawyer in their Corporate and Commercial practice. The matters in this practice will cover standard commercial transactions as well as tailored services to medical/allied health, IP and tech businesses. The clientele advised includes start-up and family businesses to internationally listed companies.

A small insight into the work currently being advised on includes:

• Mergers & acquisitions
• Trusts
• Structuring and capital raising,
• Commercial contracting,
• Business success and buy/sell agreements,
• Shareholder and unit holder agreements
• General commercial drafting and negotiation of various agreements

About you

This role is ideal for an Associate keen to develop their career in corporate practice. To be successful within this role, you will have:

• 4+ years' prior experience in a general commercial role
• Some real property experience will be highly regarded
• Willingness to supervise and lead junior people
• Networking and business development mindset
