To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Site Manager / Site Supervisor to join our passionate team and help deliver our projects to the highest standards. This full-time role is responsible for managing all on-site construction operations and ensuring the project is completed safely, to a high standard and within budget. As the Site Manager, you will play a crucial leadership role, working closely with the construction team, subcontractors and clients to drive the project to success.

About the Role

As a Site Manager / Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of townhouse construction projects. You’ll ensure each site operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality, budget, and timeline. You’ll coordinate trades, manage subcontractors, and serve as the key liaison between the site and project stakeholders.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and support the entire site team, ensuring every project is meticulously planned, executed, and delivered. Your deep building expertise, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to excellence will empower our teams to craft successful, high-quality developments.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and lead on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and tradespeople

Coordinate daily site activities and ensure adherence to project timelines

Monitor work quality and enforce compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions

Liaise with site managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow

Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports and incident logs

Manage site logistics, including materials, equipment, and workforce scheduling

Identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery

Significant experience (8+ years) as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor in the construction industry, ideally on residential or commercial projects

Strong background in construction management, with a sound understanding of construction methods, materials, regulations and safety requirements

Excellent communication, leadership and people management skills to coordinate and motivate the construction team

Proven ability to effectively manage project timelines, budgets and quality control

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field

Outstanding problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills

Ability to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders

Requirements

Have 3–5 years of proven experience as a Site Manager/Supervisor, with a strong track record in delivering medium ($10M) to large ($100M) townhouse projects.

Hold a valid QBCC Supervisor’s License is mandatory

Demonstrate expertise in project programming, budget control, contractor coordination, and WHS compliance

Possess a proactive management style, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they escalate

Have a sharp eye for quality – capable of identifying substandard work from a distance

Be tech-savvy, with proficiency in construction software and scheduling tools

Sound knowledge of QLD construction regulations and WHS standards

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Proficiency with site management software and reporting tools (desirable)
