About the role

We are seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team at the Sydney Heart Health Clinic in Lindfield, NSW. In this role, you will be one of the first points of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

Answering incoming phone calls and responding to patient enquiries

Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's appointment calendar

Preparing and organising medical files and documentation

Handling patient registration, billing and payment processing

Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area

Providing general administrative support to the medical team as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role within the healthcare industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient care

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and other office technology

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

A friendly, professional and collaborative approach to working as part of a team

A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
