Accounts Administrator – Greendale Landscape Supplies
Greendale Landscape Supplies is a fast-growing provider of landscape and quarry materials in South-West Sydney. We’re seeking a highly organised and experienced Accounts Administrator to join our supportive team and take on a key dual role of serving as the front-of-house receptionist while overseeing essential accounts and administrative functions.
Position Purpose
This role is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the accounts department, including both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), while also overseeing general administrative duties for Greendale Landscape Supplies.
You’ll work closely with the Accounts Manager to ensure all financial tasks are completed accurately and on time. In addition to administration and accounts support, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers taking delivery orders as well as assisting with scheduling, and coordinating with the allocations team to ensure prompt and efficient service. Your contribution will play a vital role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Areas
Reception & Customer Service
Be the first point of contact and process any walk-in customers
Take & process incoming orders via phone and email
Respond to account inquiries and quotes
Provide product advice and information (training will be provided)
Monitor accounts and general inboxes, ensuring prompt and professional communication
Direct calls and enquiries to the appropriate departments within the office
Accounts
Handle sales invoices, receipts, payments, and data entry
Accounts Receivable
Reconcile purchase orders, payments, and credit card transactions
Allocations
Liaise with the team and management to ensure smooth processing and scheduling of orders
Assist in ensuring orders are scheduled and fulfilled accurately and on time
Communicate with delivery drivers to maximise route efficiency and resource use
Keep customers informed on delivery status and timelines, ensuring expectations are met
Administration
Daily administrative tasks and records
Complete daily tasks including document filing, spreadsheet management, and inbox monitoring
Maintain organised filing systems and documentation
The Right Candidate Will Have:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Accounts experience using MYOB Accountright
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to prioritise tasks, work autonomously, and thrive in a team environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
A customer-focused approach and the ability to build strong business relationships
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience in a landscape or quarry industry office is highly advantageous
Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
