Responsibilities
Step into a pivotal role as Office Manager, where you will lead a small admin team and support the day-to-day operations of a busy plumbing business. this hands-on position involves job scheduling, client communication, invoicing, workflow coordination, and ensuring compliance from an administrative perspective. You will be responsible for implementing and refining office systems, managing team performance, driving process improvements, and supporting recruitment and onboarding of new staff. Acting as the key link between the team, clients and Director, you’ll ensure smooth operations, uphold service standards, and foster a positive high performing team culture.
Your Profile
The ideal Office Manager will bring proven experience in office administration and team leadership within a trade or service-based business. A hands-on approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to create a structured, high performing team environment are essential for success in this role.
- Essential: Minimum 1 year prior experience in an office management or senior administration role within a trade or service based business.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and develop a small team while managing day to day operational and administrative responsibilities.
- Proven capacity to handle job scheduling, client communication, and compliance tracking and process improvements in a fast paced, customer focused setting.
This fantastic opportunity will commence as soon as possible for the right person. This is a Full-Time permanent position based in Rockhampton Queensland.
