About the Business:
Building Solutions Brisbane is a successful small-medium Construction and Concrete Remediation Specialist Contractor, which was established in 2007. We provide a vast range of services across the Building, Construction, and Rehabilitation Industries.
We have experienced exponential growth and have tripled our turnover in the last three years. As a result, an exciting opportunity now exists for an additional office administrator or office manager to join our successful team and evolving business.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the office. This includes managing administrative systems, liaising with staff, and handling various operational tasks for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Construction Manager and Director, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Office Management - filing, stock taking, Managing office supplies and equipment
Operational Coordination - Managing office facilities and maintenance. Handling communication and correspondence. Organizing meetings and events
Administrative Management: Overseeing office budgets and expenditures. Managing records, accounts, and databases. Developing and implementing office systems and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and ISO standards
Element of HR with regards to managing uniform and PPE allocations, vehicle management, wages, timesheets, new starter forms etc
Working closely with the Project Managers on each project. Assisting with purchasing, quoting, pricing and then assist throughout the project until final invoice and finishing of the project
Produce purchase orders and quote numbers
Quotation requests and management thereof from suppliers and sub-contractors
Assisting with compiling tender submissions
Assist the project team in managing project cost control
Liaising and building strong working relationships with our clients, staff and suppliers
Strategic Planning: Contributing to the planning and review of office services. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
At least three years' experience in an office role preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Energetic, motivated, excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly, and work unsupervised as needed
Proficiency in relevant software and technologies such as office word and excel. Xero experience would be beneficial
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
