About the Position
As a Future Student Advisor, you will be part of a team focused on delivering exceptional student experiences and outcomes. Your primary responsibility will be executing CDU outbound communication strategies that support student conversion, retention, and re-engagement across the student lifecycle.
This includes:
- Conducting high-volume outbound calls to prospective and current students, complemented by additional outreach provided by email, SMS, and appointment-based consultations.
- Guiding prospective students through the end-to-end admissions journey, from initial enquiry to successful enrolment.
- Providing proactive support to continuing students with re-enrolment and re-engagement, contributing to student retention and continuity
- Identifying and addressing barriers to study by providing timely, empathetic, and solutions-focused support.
- Assisting the Admissions team with application assessments and providing accurate advice in line with University policy and procedures
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- High level verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex processes or regulations, and provide clear and accurate information to customers and staff.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, professional emails for a range of audiences, including students and other internal University Teams.
- A strong commitment to delivering outstanding student service and maintaining a supportive, solution-focused approach
- Experience working in a customer service or sales team (ideally within the higher education sector), including working collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
- Proven ability to manage your time effectively and stay focused in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Additional Key Selection Criteria at Level 5
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of processes and practices and actively providing mentoring and training to colleagues.
- Track record in delivering best practice customer outcomes against a schedule of deadlines, with personal drive and self-motivation.
- Advanced level of technical proficiency in administrative systems and platforms, including the use of large corporate databases, MSOffice software and contact centre solutions.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 4 - 5. The base salary will be in the range of $67,800 - $84,914 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $79,326 - $99,349 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
