Where You’ll Work
You will be provided a comfortable bright and modern office space in your city of Melbourne (or Sydney) and given the tools and space to perform your role. You will spend a few days at our factory head office in Kerang initially and return for 1-2 days per month. You will be regularly moving about and attending events, evenings or meetings with decision makers, customers, agents and sales teams in your role.
What You’ll Do
You will manage the marketing function for the company and join a progressive team to take the brand forward into the future. In your role you will:
Lean on experts internally and externally to deliver a 360-degree marketing strategy tailored to building a highly effective strategy that delivers results for our business.
Develop marketing strategies for each product/range sector to maximise the market penetration.
Oversee digital, print, event, physical & social media marketing including go-to-market launch strategy for new products or initiatives.
Learn and meet the customer, the A&D’s, the builders and the dealers to understand the decision making and ensure the message and delivery of marketing is aligned.
Understand the strategic direction of the company and develop strategy to support this.
Build strong relationships with the sales, R&D and management of the company to ensure ideas and energy is captured and there is alignment and buy-in on strategy.
Oversee the steady flow of production and delivery of impactful content to the market
Negotiate and manage contracts with external agencies
Lead, train and inspire the marketing team
Develop your skills and always be improving
Manage the marketing budget and pitch to management the best use of funds allocated.
Write stories and leverage editorial to deliver the message.
Build relationships with industry influencers and collaborate with key partners in the industry to leverage their following or standing to grow ours
Analyse and report on performance to ensure ROI and goals are being met
Undertake the needed research and ask challenging questions to ensure the marketing is focused and relevant
Review and refresh website, stationary etc to be consistent with the brand direction.
Competencies and Experience Critical to the Role
Experience of 5+ years in marketing management
Demonstrated success in marketing with with measurable achievements (e.g., brand growth metrics, campaign ROI)
Experience in luxury and A&D sector a benefit
Has experience running high-performing digital marketing campaigns
Has a strong sense of brand, storytelling and customer psychology and able to think strategically and creatively
Be able to delegate effectively and manage projects to deliver on time. Can juggle big-picture strategy with daily execution
Be motivational and display leadership to drive the team
The ability to review campaigns/direction/strategy and learn from how they worked and keep improving based on outcomes.
The ability to negotiate with agencies and contractors to secure the best outcomes and get competitive deals
