We’re a growing boat charter business with a tight-knit team in the Central Coast, helping people book unforgettable boat parties and events on Sydney Harbour. We’re now hiring a Booking Consultant with a strong work ethic and a natural drive to follow up, close deals, and deliver great customer experiences.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to prove themselves in their first season and then step into a leadership role, with strong commissions and a winter leave perk along the way.

What you’ll do
This Sales based role is critical to the success of our business. The core focus of the role is to get more people to hold their event on one of our boats, whilst providing top class customer service to our customers and boat owning clients.
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Events, you will get great pleasure from booking in our new and returning customers for their dream party and looking after them throughout the planning of their event.
During the off-season you'll spend more time touching base with our previous customers, building relationships over the phone & email and working on other growth projects within the business.
We have spent over 15 years building a reputation of providing an excellent customer experience, so whilst being hungry to book in new customers, you'll be equally hungry to ensure their event is a success and will therefore know when to push for a sale and when to let go if it's not going to help the customer, regardless of profits.
You will build a rapport with both customers and boat owners on a day to day basis and strive to exceed monthly KPIs.
What we’re looking for
Minimum 2 years’ experience in phone and email-based sales, with a strong track record of hitting KPIs - e.g. as a Travel Agent, Booking Consultant, or in service-based sales
A natural sales mindset - persistent yet thoughtful, with a calm and steady approach under pressure
A kind, thoughtful communicator who listens well and brings a friendly, professional tone to every customer interaction
Conflict-averse but not afraid to handle tricky situations with tact and clarity
Event management experience is a bonus, but not essential
Willing to work up to 6 Saturdays between October and March (time in lieu is provided in winter)
