Boilermaker / Fabricator

Traralgon, VIC 3844 | Full Time | Monday - Friday

Join a leading Australian power generation company specialising in the design, engineering, production, installation, commissioning and servicing of custom generator systems. We're looking for a qualified Boilermaker to join our Traralgon production team, with proven experience in fabricating and welding tanks and vessels.

What You'll Be Doing:

Fabrication and welding of mild and stainless steel tanks, pressure vessels, and other power generation related components

Working to Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) and engineering drawings

Preparing welds for NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) including visual, MPI, and ultrasonic inspections

Participating in weld testing and qualifications as required

Assisting with pressure testing (pneumatic and hydrostatic)

Working closely with Supervisors and Engineering to ensure quality standards are met

About You:

Trade-qualified Boilermaker with relevant experience in tank and vessel fabrication

High-level welding skill in MIG and TIG, with a strong understanding of WPS compliance

Previous exposure to NDT testing standards and quality assurance practices

Experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing (desirable)

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
