ABOUT YOU

Delta Group are seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Fabrication Welder.

As a Boilermaker/Welder for Delta Group you will be required to carry out steel fabrication works as well as repairs to heavy earthmoving equipment and attachments. Working within fully equipped workshop with overhead cranes and specialised tooling provided.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Fabricate structural steel from plans/drawings.

Repair to earthmoving machines and attachments

Repairs to hook bins and truck bodies

To succeed in this role, you will have a range of skills and attributes, including:

ESSENTIAL

Passion for people and their safety.

Permanent residency.

Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test if required.

Must know how the MIG and Stick weld with mild and high tensile steels.

Trade qualified – minimum certificate III in relevant qualification.

Understand and read workshop drawings.

DESIRABLE

Ark air gouging experience.

Demonstrated communication skills – verbal and written.

Previous fabrication experience.

Proven capacity to multi-task.

High level decision making and problem-solving skills.

Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise and follow up.
