About the role

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker Tig Welder to join our team at Steel ET AL Pty Ltd in our Melbourne office. This is a full-time position and will involve working on-site to fabricate and assemble high-quality steel products.

What you'll be doing

Perform skilled tig welding on a variety of steel fabrications and equipment

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate custom steel products

Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape and assemble steel components

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards

Collaborate with the wider workshop team to deliver projects on time

Maintain a clean and organised work area

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Boilermaking or Metal Fabrication

Proven experience as a Tig Welder, ideally in the trades and services industry, stairs, balustrade and handrail.

Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials

Strong safety focus and willingness to follow all company policies and procedures
