About the Role

Kairos is on the hunt for a driven and curious Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team in Melbourne. This is more than a numbers role, it's an opportunity to work on real-world data challenges that shape how organisations plan, invest, and operate.

As a Junior Data Analyst, you’ll be hands-on with data cleansing and preparation work while supporting the development and training of machine learning models across our core platforms. What You’ll Be Doing

Clean, structure and prepare datasets across a wide range of asset, infrastructure and spatial data projects

Assist in training and validating machine learning models that improve asset insights and decision-making

Work alongside our consulting and product teams to turn raw data into meaningful inputs for strategic reporting

Help refine and evolve our QA frameworks and rule-based logic to increase data confidence and automation

Learn and grow with access to cutting-edge tools and real industry problems that challenge you to think critically

What We’re Looking For

A degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science or a similar discipline

Experience working with data in Excel and SQL. Bonus if you’ve dabbled in Python, Power BI, or Jupyter

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to organising and validating data

A genuine passion for data, automation, AI, and the future of intelligent systems

Ability to learn fast, ask smart questions, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams

A team player who’s excited to roll up their sleeves and be part of something ambitious
