About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to work on a 6-9 month contract with a top-tier financial institution in Sydney. This role will focus on designing and delivering high-quality data solutions, optimizing business processes, and providing valuable insights through Power BI and ETL development.

What You'll Be Doing:

✅ Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations for operational and data workflows
✅ Design and develop end-to-end ETL processes for large datasets (SQL, SSIS)
✅ Build intuitive and insightful Power BI dashboards for key business stakeholders
✅ Act as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into technical solutions
✅ Collaborate with agile teams using JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams
✅ Ensure compliance with risk management, governance, and delivery methodologies

What We're Looking For:

🔹 5+ years' experience in the Banking & Finance industry
🔹 Strong expertise in SQL, SAS, SSIS, and ETL development
🔹 Hands-on experience with Power BI and data visualization tools
🔹 Proven ability to manage stakeholders and translate business requirements into data solutions
🔹 Solid understanding of agile project delivery and data governance
