• Data Analysis for a large scale Asset Management System program

We are looking for an experienced Data analyst to join my client team. you will come with exceptional excel skills with a focus on data analysis and manipulation. You will need advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and lookup functions to build data templates, apply business rules, and perform data validation and transformation activities for system upload or reporting. You will also come with a familiarity of database fundamentals, with the ability to query, profile, and analyse data structures; using tools such as SQL or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of and manipulation of data in excel using VLOOKUP, formulas, Pivots, Macros, Functions. etc.
• Assist Analysis and Improvement Manager in the definition of AS-IS and TO-BE processes and overlay with detailed data flows
• Review cleansing and conversion rules and provide feedback on data integrity and alignment.
• Gather data from system and non-system sources to cleanse and create new data as nominated by the TMP Analysts and/or Analysis and Improvement Manager.
• Provide gathered, cleansed and created data to the team in agreed formats
• Assist with trial migrations, review post migration/production validation reports

Your background

• Proven ability to interpret engineering and maintenance documentation and translate it into structured, standardised master data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and lookup functions to build data templates, apply business rules, and perform data validation and transformation activities for system upload or reporting.
• Sound knowledge of data governance and data quality principles, with the ability to apply standards and support data management processes.
• Familiarity of database fundamentals, with the ability to query, profile, and analyse data structures; using tools such as SQL or equivalent.
