Our client, a federal agency responsible for supporting individuals with permanent and significant disabilities requires 2 x APS6 Data Analyst to design data products, translate business needs into insights, and deliver reporting solutions within a cloud-based data environment.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Understanding the strategy and the changing needs of the organisation. Capturing business requirements and underlying data needs;
• Translating subject-matter expert and stakeholder discussions into data and reporting products.
• Translating key data insights into value adding products;
• Articulating complex information into simple messages that can be consumed by key stakeholders with varied levels of data literacy;
• Mentoring and leading of junior analysts (0-2).

Essential criteria

• Strong programming experience (SAS, SQL etc);
• Industrialised cloud Data Lake and/or EDW environment experience;
• Process Mapping-Able to translate discussion into data flows and process documentation;
• Project management frameworks, the tools, and phases of the project lifecycle experience.
