Join a leading financial services institution as a Python Data Engineer, where you'll play a key role in modernising data ingestion processes and building innovative, scalable data pipelines that enable critical business insights.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and maintain robust Python scripts for data engineering, automation, and ETL/ELT processes

Design scalable data pipeline components to support enterprise analytics platforms

Lead the discovery and implementation of Python-based ingestion patterns for business intelligence tools

Automate routine operational tasks using Python (e.g., Jira story generation, data validation checks)

Document pipeline designs and support the rationalisation of existing Alteryx workflows

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data delivery across key business units

What we're looking for:

Expertise in Python, particularly for building scalable data pipelines and automation

Experience in data engineering for AI/ML use cases and integrating with APIs

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS S3, Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)

Strong understanding of data modelling and architecture principles

Skilled in API integrations for data sourcing and enrichment

Bonus points for experience with ThoughtSpot or Alteryx, though not essential
