A well-established Motel in Townsville, Queensland, is seeking hands on Motel Managers. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the motel's operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and maximise profitability.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the motel, including reception, housekeeping, maintenance.

Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction

Manage and mentor the motel team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal requirements

Liaise with owners to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

Enthusiastic, self-motivated couple

Proven track record of good work ethic

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities

Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and communicate with the owners

Experience in the accommodation industry would be advantageous

Long term commitment to working with us

Willing to get or have RMLV for sales of alcohol

What we offer

We are offering a full-time live-in role. The advertised salary package is negotiable and includes unfurnished accommodation, use of a vehicle, superannuation, all utilities and other perks of the industry for the right couple. The Motel does not have a restaurant attached and no cooking is required however, sales of drinks through reception means you will be required to have RSA and RMLV or be willing to apply for.
