About the role

Gympie Soul Pattinson Pharmacy is seeking a passionate and driven Pharmacy Assistant Retail Manager to join our team in Gympie, QLD. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our medical centre pharmacy, ensuring exceptional customer service and the smooth running of the retail side of the business.

What you'll be doing

Manage staff and motivate them to work towards our key performance indicators.

Overseeing the day-to-day running of the retail pharmacy, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service

Assisting with the processing of customer orders and enquiries, including dispensing medications

Maintaining the professional appearance and cleanliness of the pharmacy

Implementing and monitoring sales and promotional strategies to drive revenue growth

Providing training and support to pharmacy assistants to ensure high levels of customer service

Collaborating with the pharmacist to identify and address any operational or customer-related issues

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards

What we're looking for

Must have at least certificate 2 level in pharmacy administration.

Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail pharmacy or similar customer-facing role

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a friendly and professional experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Familiarity with pharmacy operations, including stock management and dispensing procedures

A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and regulatory compliance

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
