As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will utilise your accounting background and expertise to ensure financial compliance and drive the success of the business. As part of a high performing team, the role is crucial to ensuring compliance from both a finance and tax perspective.

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a team of five, the responsibilities of the role will include,

• Month end year-end statutory reporting
• Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS
• Manage Audit process and acting as a primary contact for external auditors
• Month end processing and managing fixed assets
• Drafting technical accounting papers
• Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting process and analysis

About You
The successful applicant will have/be,

• CA or CPA qualified with strong understanding of Australian Accounting standards
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and managing Audit
• Advanced Excel and strong ERP systems exposure
• Experience working with an ASX listed business, highly desirable
• Well developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
