A large scale and successful business located at Darra is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a minimum 3.5 month contract to start in August. Reporting to an excellent CFO this is a great opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant to join a highly regarded business with potential for ongoing opportunities.

Your duties will include:

Preparation of end of month reporting including balance sheet, trial balance, income statements

Maintain financial records in line with policy

Provide guidance and leadership to finance team members

Manage IFRS 16 lease requirements

Manage the fixed assets register

Lodgement of BAS and IAS.

Preparation of quarterly parent company reporting

Manage payroll tax requirements

Liaison with auditors

Drive process improvement initiatives

About you:

Prior experience in a role as a Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant

CA/CPA qualified or equivalent

Prior experience in manufacturing will be highly beneficial

Existing ERP systems experience

Strong organisation and time management skills
