Your Opportunity
Join a growing national business in the infrastructure sector as a Financial Accountant. Based on the CBD fringe, this two-month contract role (with potential to extend) supports the Head of Finance during a period of transition, including a system migration, EOFY and group reporting activities. You'll be part of a collaborative team and play a key role in supporting financial operations across multiple entities.

Your Duties
This hands-on role will suit someone comfortable working in a busy environment with evolving processes. You'll review outputs from the broader finance team, adding value where process and structure are still being embedded.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close
  * Prepare financial statements and maintain fixed asset registers
  * Review outputs from transactional team members
  * Support balance sheet reconciliations and group-level consolidation
  * Assist with external audit preparation and requests

About You
You're technically strong, proactive, and confident operating in a changing environment. You bring an eye for detail and a hands-on mindset to help drive outcomes and meet deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience
* CA/CPA qualified or part-qualified (preferred but not essential)
* Strong Excel skills; experience with Microsoft D365 or other large systems
* Comfortable working with ambiguity and change
* Able to work autonomously and within a close-knit team
