About the role:

You will join a large, complex business with a revenue of over $200 million, giving you broad exposure to a meaningful, for purpose industry. Initially joining on a 6-month contract, there is a strong possibility of extending through to July 2026. You will be reporting to the Financial Controller, while working alongside an experienced Senior Financial Accountant, Asset Accountant and CFO.

With parking on site, you will join a down-to-earth collaborative team which fosters a supportive environment. You will play a key role in assisting with an already established finance team, during a time of operational demand and business transformation. You will support the team through a period of transition, allowing the Financial Controller to focus on strategic initiatives. This is a generalist, hands-on position suited to someone who can adapt quickly and work autonomously in a fast paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Raise and post journals
• Handle accruals and prepayments
• Perform reconciliations
• Review export transactions in Excel and post journals into TechnologyOne
• Conduct account reviews to identify anomalies
• Review and analyse CAPEX and OPEX
• Support audit queries, including retrieving documents for sampling

You:

• Qualified or part qualified CA/CPA (or equivalent)
• A strong attention to detail, with intermediate excel
• A team player with a friendly personality and strong sense of humor
