As part of Accor’s global hospitality network, Swissôtel Sydney is proud to deliver world-class service and bespoke guest experiences. We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Conference & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
As a Conference & Events Coordinator, you will support the team in providing seamless service and delivering exceptional experiences for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and conducting site inspections for confirmed events
Supporting the administrative and operational functions of the Conference & Events Sales department
Managing daily, weekly, and monthly Conference & Events reports
Assisting in the smooth planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and special events
Liaising with internal departments, including Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Concierge, and AV to ensure seamless event delivery
Issuing invoices to clients pre- and post-event, and ensuring billing accuracy
Accurately posting event-related charges and ensuring timely reconciliation
Maintaining strong relationships and clear communication with both external event organisers and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional guest experiences
About You
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
Exceptional grooming standards and professional presentation
A positive, can do attitude always striving to exceed client expectations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Delphi and Opera systems (preferred but not essential)
A genuine passion for delivering luxury guest experiences with exceptional customer service
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Full-time working rights in Australia
