About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing team in the role of Social Media Specialist reporting to the Media Manager.
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for planning, creating and publishing content across T2’s digital and social platforms to build brand awareness, drive brand relevance and grow communities. This role provides strategic assistance to the media manager and marketing director, playing a key role in shaping brand voice and ensuring for consistent and effective messaging across owned, earned and paid channels.
Key responsibilities
Support the development and lead the implementation of social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Little Red Book, Spotify and emerging platforms in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and other growth markets.
Execute strategies that leverage a multi-channel approach (owned/earned/paid) across brand, campaign and promotional marketing moments.
Create compelling, brand aligned content that supports marketing objectives and follows established creative processes.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to create compelling content, align on creative direction and manage end-to-end content production and delivery.
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. paid media, eCommerce, retail, wholesale, partnerships) to ensure alignment on key business objectives across social and digital platforms.
Develop and manage the global influencer strategy and its execution.
Manage content calendars and oversee the scheduling and publishing of content across platforms.
Monitor brand mentions and public perception of T2 across social media channels.
Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages and escalating issues where necessary.
Analyse content performance, track KPIs, and provide reporting with actionable insights.
Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, and content innovation opportunities.
Support paid media campaigns by assisting in campaign delivery and optimisation.
Foster a positive and high-performance culture grounded in respect, integrity and accountability.
