Job Description

A well-regarded manufacturer and supplier in the steel reinforcing sector is seeking a driven and commercially astute Sales Manager to assist their NSW sales operations. This opportunity sits within a national business that plays a critical role in major infrastructure and construction projects across the country.

Covering the largest and most commercially significant territory in the business, this role will see you take full ownership of sales strategy, execution, and team development. You’ll be working with a specialised product portfolio including reinforcing bar, mesh, and related steel solutions used in residential, commercial, and civil construction applications.

Role Responsibilities:

Develop and implement territory sales strategies across reinforced steel product lines

Guide and support a capable sales team (note: no direct reports), focused on pipeline performance and client engagement

Lead the adoption and effective use of CRM tools (Sugar CRM preferred)

Build strategic relationships with key clients in the construction and engineering sectors

Ensure alignment between sales delivery and operational capabilities

Promote a strong safety-first culture across the sales environment

Partner with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and service delivery outcomes

What You’ll Bring:

Proven experience in sales management within the reinforced steel or broader construction materials industry

In-depth understanding of steel reinforcement products, specifications and market applications

Strong commercial and operational acumen with a focus on margin and volume

A hands-on leadership style with excellent mentoring and coaching skills

Experience using CRM systems to manage performance and track client activity

Commitment to workplace safety and fostering a high-performing team culture

Salay and Benefits

Base $130k - $150k | Super 12% | Company Car | Commission
