About the Role
We are seeking applications for the full-time role of Business Analyst (Data & Analytics). This is an exciting role providing analysis and strategic advice to Marketing and Senior Management throughout QPAC on customers and identifying opportunities for QPAC to better meet the needs of customers in terms of products and service delivery.
This position reports to the Head of Marketing Strategy.
In this role you will:
Provide customer insights and direction to Marketing, other business units and, where appropriate, external producers, to aid business decisions and support planning and tactical activities and initiatives that will result in greater financial returns for the organisation.
Data Collection: Design and implement surveys to gather audience insights and feedback.
Market Research: Analyse market research to understand industry trends and customer expectations. Translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations for product and service improvements.
Provide analysis to Marketing and Programming on the viability or otherwise of potential business investments.
Measure, analyse and report on key performance indicators relating to brand awareness and perceptions, customer satisfaction and engagement.
Identify and recommend opportunities for measurement, analysis and reporting process and quality improvement, ensuring decisions comply with legislative and risk management guidelines.
Work with the Digital Marketing team to provide support in the establishment and delivery of QPAC audience development initiatives.
Develop, deliver and manage business intelligence reporting capability accessed by multiple users across business units.
Research and develop a machine learning capacity within the business to improve ticketing, revenue, and customer forecasting to be utilised by multiple business units.
Consult with other teams in improving processes and reporting using expertise in data management, manipulation and automation.
Consult in the development and design of CRM, Data Warehouse, and adjunct systems
Develop ad-hoc reports to support reporting on projects and initiatives.
Comply with and implement applicable legislation, codes and policies, including anti-discrimination, EEO and workplace health and safety legislation.
Other tasks or duties relating to customer insights and as requested by the Head of Marketing Strategy or Executive Director – Visitation.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
Demonstrated experience in relational database management and ability to analyse and interpret data, identify key findings and provide recommendations.
Demonstrated experience in exercising initiative and judgement to solve problems and effect creative solutions to analysis and research questions.
High standard of written and verbal communication skills, including report compilation and writing.
Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines while achieving objectives.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a well-developed internal consultancy approach and a commitment to quality service.
Demonstrated ability to use advanced functions of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to use SQL and PowerBI.
