JS Careers is currently sourcing an Analyst for an boutique Australian investment bank in Brisbane. The firm operates in a generalist sector capacity with a mid market focus in terms of deal size.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an analytical professional seeking to build upon already developed technical skills in a high quality team where you will be exposed to a strong pipeline of work and the opportunity to learn from the firms senior leadership.

This role requires 1-4 years of experience gained from a corporate finance team within an accounting practice, equity research role, corporate development position or a competitor investment bank / corporate advisory firm.

Role responsibilities:

Financial analysis, valuation and modelling

Due diligence and transaction management

Drafting and deal documentation (e.g. IMs, Board Papers, SPAs etc)

Communication with other advisors (legal, accounting) and clients

Candidates will be considered from:

Investment banks - Bulge bracket or boutique

Accounting firms corporate finance teams - M&A, Transaction Services, Valuations and/or Business Modelling

Corporate development teams

Equities research

Candidates must also possess the following:

1-4 years of experience

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)

Advanced technical skills via financial modelling experience or a highly numeric tertiary education (ie. Actuarial studies, Mathematics, Quantitative Economics/Econometrics)

Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Commerce, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Engineering, and/or Law)
